Product Spotlight: DraftMax downdraft table

The DraftMax is a downdraft and backdraft workbench. This combination of extraction and filtration system is perfect for welding booths or it can be connected to ductwork. The DraftMax is suitable for applications like welding, grinding, and plasma cutting.

This downdraft table removes fumes and dust through the working surface or an optional backdraft panel. This prevents toxic welding fumes from entering a worker’s breathing zone.

The DraftMax downdraft table features a three-stage pre-filtration system and two self-cleaning main filter cartridges. The three-way spark arrester ensures safety by preventing sparks from reaching the filters.

A HEPA kit can be added if regulations allow for recirculation. This is recommended as recirculation reduces the need for external venting. This means energy savings for you, allowing expensively heated or cooled air to stay within the workshop.

The DraftMax was designed and developed with user-friendliness in mind. Filter replacement and emptying of dust trays can be done from the front. The DraftMax also automatically starts self-cleaning the filters as soon as the fan is switched off.
