Fire hazards are a constant threat in all welding and cutting applications. The SparkShield is specifically designed to remove sparks and cigarette butts from the airflow. Without this system, sparks, spatters, and dust can reach the filter cartridge, which is combustible. The SparkShield is a compact, in-line spark arrester and requires little to no floor space. A divisible body and duct clamp connections allow for easy installation, service, and dismantling. Additionally, inspection hatches can be installed near the system to allow for regular maintenance checks. Oily stamped parts regularly see robotic welding used. The welding fumes have a lower than normal flashpoint, which can easily be ignited.
