In certain instances, it may be more effective to isolate welding and cutting workspaces. A typical situation would be when welding robots move along a rail system. Under these circumstances, extraction hoods are an excellent method to remove welding fumes near the process. Extraction hoods reduce the amount of welding fumes, small particles, fine dust, mist and aerosols in the workspace.
